Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Overview: We are searching for a Logistics Support Specialist to assist with project management/planning, logistical, and documentation processes. You will be 100% responsible for the completion of the one-for-one physical installation and deinstallation of approximately 1100 Wireless Access Points (WAPs) across the Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) installations at Fort Lee, with occasional work at Fort Eustis, and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story (JEBLCFS). Responsibilities: Assist in the 100% accountability of all WAPs in the fielding process. Be responsible for tracking and accountability for deinstalled WAPs. Label every WAP to be fielded in accordance with (IAW) the naming convention provided and IAW with the location where the WAP will be installed. Complete the inventory tracking work sheet provided by the government that tracks every WAP by serial number, naming convention and installation location. Work with the Government Logistician to meet the disposition requirements of the deinstalled WAPs. Perform other duties as required. May require occasional travel to Fort Eustis and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1+ years of experience supporting logistics or supply operations. Strong experience with Excel and other Microsoft Suite applications. Administrative experience tracking assets in a logistics or operations environment. Must have solid communication skills to effectively interface with managers and other teammates. Networking background or knowledge is a big plus. Experience supporting the U.S. Army or other DoD Agency a plus. Must have a valid driver's license to operate/drive pickup trucks and/or cargo vans.
