Position:
Precision Pathology Account Manager
at
Quest Diagnostics . This is a field-based sales role supporting local Ameripath/Quest practices in assigned territories. Responsibilities
Drive adoption and volume in assigned territory through new account activation and up-selling of existing accounts. Maintain customer retention by developing relationships with personnel at multiple levels of the account. Conduct regular business reviews of service delivery to include logistics, supplies, testing and billing to identify gaps in service. Collaborate with precision oncology Account Executives and sales leaders to develop business plans and value propositions to increase revenue, volume and profitability in assigned accounts. Profile new tests and service offerings. Coordinate with medical affairs, operations, customer experience, IT, and billing teams. Secure meetings and in-services with physician and account targets. Provide subject matter expertise for precision pathology specialty testing and maintain knowledge in this area. Identify ways to strategically manage account depth and breadth for precision pathology testing adoption. Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly. Qualifications
Required Work Experience
Prior responsibility for upselling current accounts and expanding existing relationships in complex customer models (health systems, academic cancer centers, and large oncology groups). Five (5) years of account management experience in diagnostics, lab and/or biotech. Three (3) years of healthcare sales in oncology diagnostics, precision medicine, lab, and/or biotech. Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business. Bachelor\'s Degree required. Benefits
