We operate manufacturing and technical facilities across multiple countries. This position requires the Director FP&A to be onsite in the Chicago headquarters. Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting: Oversee the business unit’s budgeting process, ensuring alignment with objectives, preparing and reviewing detailed financial plans, and recommending adjustments as necessary. Forecasting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes to project financial outcomes, assessing risks and opportunities. Financial Analysis: Partner with VP FP&A and CFO in conducting in-depth analysis (variance, profitability, cost) to provide insights and identify improvements. Management Reporting & OneStream: Prepare and present financial reports for senior management; support OneStream enhancements to FP&A objectives. Strategic Decision Support: Evaluate initiatives and investments, providing data-driven recommendations. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity and optimize strategies. KPIs & Metrics: Develop and maintain financial KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to evaluate business health. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes for efficiency and data accuracy. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor FP&A managers/analysts and support skill development. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with accounting, operations, sales, and marketing to align planning and budgeting. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred). 5+ years of FP&A experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role. Fluency with OneStream or similar mature EPM in FP&A. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. Advanced knowledge of financial software/tools (Excel, ERP systems, Power BI, or similar). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into insights. Experience managing cross-functional teams and presenting to senior leadership. Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-financial stakeholders. High attention to detail and proactive issue-solving. Preferred Skills

Experience with large mature public organizations and best-in-class FP&A processes; knowledge of best practices in evolving environments. Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Familiarity with private equity environments, M&A processes, due diligence, and post-merger integration. Work Environment
