Position Details
Position Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing
School/Division: School of Business
Full-Time
Description: The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is inviting applications for an anticipated tenure-track faculty position in Marketing beginning in fall 2026. Rank (Assistant or Associate Professor) will depend on teaching experience and publication record. Primary teaching/research areas include Digital/Social Marketing and/or Advertising; ability and willingness to teach a variety of marketing courses beyond these areas is desirable. Candidates will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate marketing courses in classroom and online settings and to pursue high-quality, peer-reviewed publications.
University support: Access to research databases and advanced laboratories, including Behavioral Research Lab, Core Skills Lab using AI/VR, and IdeaHub.
Service: Service to the university and the profession is expected.
Department: Hofstra University Marketing, International Business, and Legal Studies Department serves over 400 majors at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Qualifications
Ph.D. or D.B.A. with specialization in Marketing and/or related disciplines from an AACSB-accredited business program. ABDs in advanced dissertation stages will be considered for a non-tenure track appointment. Tenure-track status requires a degree in hand by August 2026. Candidates should have potential for excellent teaching and research.
