Audit & Accounts Manager Braintree Circa £55,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on Experience) Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy, Clark Wood, are delighted to be working with this leading independent firm of chartered accountants in Braintree as they are looking to add an Audit & Accounts Manager to their successful and growing team. This highly reputable and progressive firm have an excellent presence across the area, and as a result of sustained growth and success, they are now keen to add a personable and professional Audit & Accounts Manager who can help to enhance their excellent reputation.
Responsibilities
Work directly with Partners and manage a varied portfolio of clients from a broad range of industry sectors.
Lead the audit process from planning through to completion and deploy appropriate staff levels for each assignment.
Review year-end accounts prepared by team members to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards before client delivery.
Contribute to day-to-day management and training of staff, including participating in staff reviews to support continuous development.
Engage in business development activities, including presenting to new and existing clients with a view to winning new business for the firm.
Qualifications / Experience
Experience managing the audit process from planning to completion.
Experience reviewing year-end accounts and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Ability to manage a varied client portfolio and maintain high levels of client service.
Experience in staff development and performance reviews.
Willingness to participate in business development activities.
