Management Company Accountant - Leading Hedge Fund

This position sits within a lean, collaborative corporate accounting team where you’ll handle full-cycle accounting for both domestic and international entities, while gaining insight into the operations of a $10B+ investment firm. Role Highlights Location: Modern downtown Boston office steps from the Orange and Green Lines Hybrid: Flexible schedule with a supportive, tight-knit team environment Competitive comp: base salary (DOE) + annual bonus + profit sharing + exceptional benefits Career growth: flat structure encourages mentorship and internal mobility across finance functions Prestigious platform: firm manages over $10B for top-tier institutions Strong culture: collaborative, intellectually curious, and focused on professional development Day-to-Day Prepare and post journal entries for multiple domestic and international corporate entities Perform month-end account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts Calculate intercompany eliminations and currency translation adjustments Prepare monthly FP&A analyses for select expense categories Assist with GAAP financial statement preparation and external audit support Reconcile investment holdings statements and produce ad hoc reports as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred 2+ years of experience in general ledger maintenance, month/year-end close, or public accounting Prior management company or investment industry experience a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a team-first mindset Compensation Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr, plus Annual Bonus Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid maternity leave Paid paternity leave Disability insurance
