Senior Financial Analyst
to join our premier client’s team in
Culver City, CA . This is a
full-time position , starting as a
3-month contract . From forecasting and reporting to deep-dive financial analysis, your work will directly impact strategic decisions and business operations across the studio. We’re looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Senior Financial Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a strong desire to exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities Support internal business partners and the Controller with budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and financial controls Partner with functional leaders and finance counterparts to build scalable financial processes and business metrics Conduct and present in-depth financial and business analyses to drive decision-making Assist in strategic operational planning processes by identifying risks and opportunities Write queries to extract financial data and perform advanced data analysis using tools such as Excel, Cognos, and Essbase Deliver accurate financial forecasts and reporting, ensuring alignment with planning cycles and corporate goals Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management in a clear, actionable format Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 4–6 years of relevant finance or FP&A experience Experience in the
entertainment industry
or digital media Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, macros, and data manipulation Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven interpersonal effectiveness High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex financial models for forecasting and variance analysis Proficiency with Essbase, Cognos, and SAP CPA license is a plus Comfortable working with large data sets and presenting key findings to senior stakeholders Experience supporting teams through monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles
