Natural Language Processing Scientist (NLP)

My client is a niche team of NLP and Automated Speech Recognition experts working in a Research-oriented team utilizing best practices to find new alpha in a new R&D trading group. They work on large, noisy data sets to extract business-useful information that helps shape a new dynamic, industry-leading group. The team is supported by the whole company and applies various machine learning/NLP/ASR techniques to improve performance and optimize profits. Candidates should have a PhD/MSc in Statistics, Machine Learning, Comp Sci, or similar. The client is looking for excellent coders in C++ or Python, open to speaking with straight grads post-doc, but prefers out-of-industry candidates who are open-minded in tackling complex problems.
