Role Description: Arcadis is currently searching for a Structural Engineer, with 10 to 15 years of experience, to join our Water Business line team in our Toledo, Columbus, Cincinnati, or Detroit office. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural portion of Water projects with support from a strong nationally recognized technical staff. Responsibilities
Lead structural efforts on water/wastewater design and construction projects. Produce, review design calculations, technical reports, permitting, and detailed design and engineering plans and specifications for Water/Wastewater projects including plant upgrades, storage facilities, storm water systems, pump stations, and distribution/collection systems. Organize and lead structural investigations, calculations, and planning work with a well-defined scope. Guide and assist team in developing alternative design approaches. Collaborate with other teams, lead and mentor project staff/junior structural engineers, and coordinate client interactions and meetings. Develop scope of work, requests for proposals, project schedules, and budgets. Lead in production of engineering drawings, specifications, bid packages, and cost estimates. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, office/project staff, clients, and subcontractors through the project life cycle; demonstrate clear and concise communication in oral and written formats. Exercise judgment on details of work and select engineering alternatives as appropriate. Some travel may be required to support project needs. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience. Professional/Structural Engineer License. Key Skills and Attributes
Strong structural analysis and design skills; experience with W/WW industry; working knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ACI, etc.). Excellent oral and written communication; ability to work in a team; client involvement and relationship skills; experience preparing, reviewing, and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. Proficiency with STAAD Pro and other structural software, AutoCAD/REVIT, and MS Office applications. Why Arcadis

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions, including medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, and more. Nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $161,000.
