Controls Engineer
to join our growing team in Wilmington, MA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in designing, programming, and commissioning control systems that power critical industrial processes. Responsibilities
Design and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery Develop system architectures, schematics, documentation, and control panel designs Program PLCs, DCS, and HMI/SCADA platforms (Rockwell, DeltaV, Ignition, etc.) Configure and troubleshoot industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.) Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, leading technical efforts on projects Support commissioning, start-up, and validation at client facilities Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science 5+ years’ experience in control systems engineering Hands-on expertise with PLC, HMI/SCADA, and DCS platforms Strong knowledge of process instrumentation, electrical schematics, and NEC standards Familiarity with automation protocols, databases (SQL), and regulatory standards (cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP5) Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to travel up to 25% What’s in It for You
