Job Title: Field Service Engineer This role involves traveling to large material handling sites to perform controls qualifications, specifically focusing on I/O checks for newly installed equipment. The ideal candidate will be centrally located, with projects primarily based in the western region. Responsibilities
Travel to various sites up to 80% of the time, typically Monday to Friday over two weeks, followed by a one-week break. Perform I/O checks on 10-20 conveyance lines at material handling sites. Engage in PLC programming and debugging with vendors, primarily using Ladder Logic, which constitutes 75% of the role. Ensure vendor quality assurance and compliance with IQ/OQ standards. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in PLC Programming Proficiency in Python or Java Strong knowledge in controls engineering Ability to travel extensively Additional Skills
Experience in vendor management Understanding of vendor quality assurance and IQ/OQ standards Work Environment
When not traveling, candidates have the flexibility to work remotely from home. The position involves a significant amount of travel, with an estimated schedule of Monday to Friday for three weeks, followed by a one-week break. The environment offers the opportunity to be part of a new and growing team with potential for more work after the initial contract. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
