Job Duties And Responsibilities

Ensure fulfillment of proactive preventative maintenance programs to brand standards (laundry equipment, HVAC units, ice machines, fire extinguishers/smoke alarms, plumbing) Follow safe working practices and conditions Inspect guest rooms after preventative maintenance and review problems with maintenance staff Maintain a current inventory of all supplies Maintain a work order assignment program; prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner; monitor deficiencies Ensure swimming pool and spa maintenance duties meet brand standards and health department regulations Maintain hotel grounds, curb appeal and building exteriors Assist other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving concerns Assist in coordination and supervision of contracted capital projects Educate hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions Hire, coach and discipline direct reports Participate in regular property walk-throughs and address deficiencies promptly Function as a member of the emergency organization team and be an expert on life safety Be aware of fire, safety, and protection equipment/hazards Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives Education And Experience

Minimum of high school education; post-high school education preferred Minimum of five (5) years in a maintenance leadership position, preferably within large full-service hotels Two (2) years of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines preferred Certified pool operator certification preferred Renovation and rebrand experience preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
