Thermal Design/Analysis Engineer (Entry Level, Associate or Mid-Level) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a Thermal Design/Analysis Engineer (Entry Level, Associate or Mid-Level) based out of El Segundo, CA. The Thermal Design/Analysis Engineer (Entry Level, Associate or Mid-Level) supports the design, analysis, development and documentation of mechanical system and thermal environment for satellite product lines. You will be part of Boeing's Space & Launch, System Engineering team. We help our employees to see the full system picture of satellite design from the beginning of a contract through to satellite build, test, and final launch. Position Responsibilities: Support the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers. Performs detail design and analysis development and modification of mechanical, electrical, and thermal system installations. Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems. Perform thermal testing support and mission control support putting you in the driver seat Assists in establishing and documenting environmental/thermal engineering and system level design requirements. Assists in performing and documenting analyses of environmental/thermal components and systems using models and tools to validate or assess the design. Supports the development of ideas and concepts for future environmental/thermal control. Launch and On-Orbit Spacecraft Mission and Spacecraft Thermal Vacuum Testing support is expected. This mission and test support runs 24/7 for multiple weeks and the team rotates through support. Supports design, analysis development and documentation of thermal environment for multiple types of spacecraft and structural, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems, subsystems, units, and components. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience working in systems engineering or thermal subsystem engineering Experience working with Thermal Desktop Experience working with SINDA/FLUINT Experience in thermal analysis/design Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
