- where every line of code, simulation, and design you touch will help shape the next era of aviation. You will develop and refine six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) motion models, flight control algorithms, and simulation environments including Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups. Responsibilities
Create and validate nonlinear 6-DOF aircraft models incorporating aerodynamic forces, propulsion systems, and environmental effects. Build simulation models of onboard sensors, actuators, and control effectors for use in SIL/HIL testing. Support the design and tuning of control loops for stability augmentation, attitude hold, and rate control. Implement surface mixing and allocation logic for vehicles with complex control surface configurations (e.g., elevons, ruddervators). Write regression test scripts, run Monte Carlo simulations, and analyse results. Generate test documentation and reports with clear evaluation criteria. Engage in system safety and traceability processes such as FMEA, FHA, and requirements mapping. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience using MATLAB & Simulink for simulation, modelling, and scripting. Exposure to SIL/HIL setups. Basic coding ability in Python or C/C++. Experience with avionics communication protocols such as CAN, ARINC-429, or Ethernet. Understanding of aerospace certification frameworks.
