We are seeking a passionate and experienced Discipline Manager specializing in Power and Energy, with a focus on Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in renewable energy projects and will lead technical design and direct the efforts of a talented engineering team. This role is pivotal to shaping the direction of our renewable energy projects and delivering innovative solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Solar PV, Wind, and BESS projects, providing deep technical expertise and guidance Lead the technical design efforts across renewable energy projects, ensuring excellence in engineering and project outcomes with ability to speak to clients, vendors, and contractors Manage and mentor a small team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment and also support national recruiting efforts Oversee project development from concept through completion, maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency Collaborate closely with the VP of Power and Energy to align strategies and goals within the discipline and provide yearly business planning Provide technical oversight, review project deliverables, and implement best practices to meet project requirements Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Demonstrated expertise in Solar, Wind, and BESS projects, minimum of twelve (12) years of professional experience Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing project deliverables Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously across the United States Pay Range - $130,000 - $175,000 Atwell Benefits and Work Environment
