This role offers immediate, heightened responsibilities within a mid-sized group and an open-door policy with experienced geotechnical leaders in the region.
Responsibilities
Perform geotechnical engineering calculations and analyses. Perform geotechnical report writing. Complete geotechnical field exploration and sample collection. Perform geotechnical construction monitoring and testing. Participate in client meetings and presentations.
Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering, Geology, or related field required. M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering required. Engineer-in-Training License. Ability to obtain PE license in 3-4 years. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Team attitude and ability to interact well with internal staff, project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients. Experience with Slide2, Settle3, and APile/LPile (preferred). Experience on construction sites and field explorations (preferred). Ability to travel to temporary assignments across the U.S., Pacific Islands region, and internationally if applicable. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Current driver\'s license.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position in Seattle, WA is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and market conditions. The company reviews salary ranges quarterly to assess competitiveness. This role is eligible to participate in the discretionary bonus program and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
