Overview
We are looking for a strong leader to oversee all plant engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring reliable equipment performance, safe working conditions, and optimized production output. This role manages a team of engineers, supervisors, and skilled technicians while working closely with plant leadership to support both daily operations and long-term improvement initiatives. Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Additional compensation types

Lead, coach, and develop the plant’s engineering and maintenance team, ensuring accountability, professional growth, and a positive work environment. Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime, extend equipment life, and control maintenance costs. Manage day-to-day maintenance of utilities, production equipment, and facility infrastructure to ensure smooth operations. Partner with plant and corporate leadership to plan and execute capital and expense projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and operational goals. Evaluate equipment replacement needs, manage spare parts strategies, and oversee vendor/contractor performance. Develop and track KPIs to monitor performance, drive reliability improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, safety regulations, and environmental requirements. Prepare and manage departmental budgets, aligning resources to plant priorities. What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, technical training, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of engineering or maintenance experience in food or manufacturing, with at least 1+ year in a leadership role. Hands-on experience with preventive/predictive maintenance, capital projects, and PLC-driven systems. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance day-to-day operations and long-term projects. Proven track record in driving plant reliability, safety, and efficiency. Seniority level
