Autonomous Systems Machine Learning Engineer
Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid or On-site depending on program needs)

Key Responsibilities
Design, train, and deploy machine learning models using time-series, image, video, and multi-sensor datasets
Build robust pipelines for data ingestion, preprocessing, model evaluation, and deployment across cloud and edge environments
Develop and implement algorithms for pattern recognition, anomaly detection, adaptive decision-making, and predictive maintenance
Integrate AI models with autonomous platforms by collaborating closely with perception, embedded systems, and autonomy teams
Validate and optimize model performance through testing in both real-world and simulated environments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on model development and operational deployment
Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
Experience working with time-series analysis, sensor fusion, or video analytics
Understanding of cloud-based and on-device ML workflows
Preferred Qualifications
Domain experience in robotics, aerospace, ISR systems, or defense technologies
Exposure to reinforcement learning or adaptive learning from real-time data streams
Familiarity with synthetic data generation, data labeling workflows, and active learning techniques
U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one
