Senior Sales Engineer, New York market — you will merge enthusiasm for identity management with a commitment to customer success. In collaboration with the sales team, you will engage in customer meetings, demonstrations, and proofs of concepts to showcase the business and technical benefits of Ping Identity solutions. You will enable personal, team, and customer achievements through insightful and innovative solutions that meet technical and business needs. Your role involves showcasing technical and consultative skills to understand and meet the requirements of stakeholders at various levels, with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies. Responsibilities

Deliver pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, presentations, technical guidance, proof of concepts, and RfX responses. Act as the go-to technical expert on Ping Identity solutions for customers, partners, and internal teams. Establish enduring relationships with customers and become their trusted advisor. Collaborate with the sales team to deliver revenue, with emphasis during Qualification, Discovery, and Technical Proof phases. Coordinate pre-sales efforts with post-sales service delivery throughout the sales cycle. Lead customer-facing meetings (video, in-person, and at events) to deliver presentations, whiteboarding sessions, and demonstrations and articulate value remotely and on-site. Provide feedback on product enhancements and customer needs to product owners. Mentor junior team members and develop subject matter expertise in at least one Ping Identity solution. Travel as needed (approximately 15% to 40%). Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, or 5+ years in a customer-facing enterprise software role (pre-sales, consulting, support, or training). Proficiency in English; additional languages are beneficial. Deep knowledge of identity protocols: SAML, WS-Fed, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM; experience with REST interfaces. Knowledge of underlying IAM technologies: LDAP (Active Directory), SSL/TLS, PKI, RADIUS, SQL, DNS, JDBC. Experience with one or more modern programming languages and web technologies: JavaScript, Python, Node.js, HTTP, HTML, CSS, JSON, Java. Proven ability to deliver effective technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proofs of concepts. Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to link technical capabilities to customer needs; self-directed and collaborative work style. Knowledge of IAM concepts: Authentication, Authorization, Federation, Single Sign-On, User Lifecycle Management, Provisioning, Governance, and Workflow. Eagerness to learn; domain expertise in a specific vertical is a bonus. Familiarity with infrastructure, networking, and cloud service providers. Ideal Candidate Skills

Installation and/or configuration of IAM technologies (e.g., ForgeRock, Ping, Okta, Auth0, Sailpoint, CA, Oracle or similar). Experience with web application servers and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat). Experience with DevOps tools and platforms (GitHub, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Successful delivery of a SaaS-based IAM solution. Experience with Ping multi-tenant SaaS solutions (PingOne SSO, PingID, PingOne MFA, PingOne Verify, PingOne Protect, PingOne Authorize, DaVinci). Compensation

Base Hiring Range: $132,000-$165,000. In Colorado, compensation is listed in accordance with SB 19-085; final compensation determined by knowledge, skills, and abilities. Life at Ping
