Corporate Finance Associate

A private investment management firm is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate to join their lean and high-impact team in San Francisco, CA. This is a hybrid position, with in-office expectations three days per week.
The role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership on high-visibility projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial modeling skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
This position reports directly to the SVP of Finance.
Responsibilities:
Lead preparation of annual corporate budgets and quarterly forecasts, coordinating with IT, HR, and accounting teams. Drive monthly/quarterly revenue and expense variance analysis across four business units and prepare review packages. Maintain and update financial models for revenue projections, working capital, cash flow, and credit facilities. Assist in preparing executive-level presentations and quarterly reports for shareholders and limited partners. Support ad-hoc financial reporting, special projects, and industry survey data compilation. Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or data analysis, ideally within financial services or private equity. Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models. Proficiency in PowerPoint with a strong eye for visual presentation. Experience with Power BI and data transformation tools (e.g., Power Query). Familiarity with modern FP&A tools (e.g., Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan) is a plus. Compensation:
Determining compensation for this role depends on various factors, including skill sets, experience, and training. The salary range for the role is $180,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
