Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Quality Material Handler.

The hours for this role are 7am - 3pm

The hourly rate for this position is 22.50 per hour.

What you'll do: Position Summary: Support Quality Inspection Team with prepping inspection paperwork, maintaining FIFO inspection plans established by the QE, and labeling products for shipment in compliance with customer requirements

Primary Functions:

Manages burndown of the FIFO line of inspection parts (customer returns, in-process parts, non-conformance inspections) Navigate MRP system to prep all inspection documentation for inspectors including drawings, inspection plans, first article and material certs Scanning completed inspection documentation into Oracle as needed Work Closely with Production Planner daily to ensure the right work is going to the floor Assist with labeling parts and other tactical functions for Inspections Effectively communicate with our internal customers addressing issues associated with material Participate in continuous improvement of processes. Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices Perform all 5S+ activities and work area clean and free from hazards Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Qualifications: Basic Qualification: • 1 year of work experience • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from accredited institution • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Beltsville area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualification: • 2 years working in manufacturing environment • 1 year of experience with Microsoft and MRP systems Position Criteria: • Must be able to read, write and speak English • Must be able to use the computer proficiently • Position requires exposure to oil, dirt, and heat • Must wear safety glasses, ear plugs and steel toed shoes for entire shift • Ability to stand, sit, move 8-12 hours a day • Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis
