Transportation Clerk
Surestaff is immediately hiring a Transportation Clerk for a client in Belvidere, IL. This temp-to-hire position is responsible for clerical duties in the transportation department, including organizing driver paperwork, providing customer service support, and completing accurate data entry in Excel. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All employees are offered competitive pay based on experience ($17$18/hour), as well as access to a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Referral bonuses may be available. Available shift: 1st Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Overtime may be required depending on department needs. Responsibilities of the Transportation Clerk: Gather, organize, and process driver paperwork, logs, manifests, vehicle inspections, and load documents Support dispatchers with daily tasks Answer phones, route calls, and provide customer service support Respond to delivery associate issues and assist with resolution Run daily reports and complete strong/accurate data entry (Excel) Required Qualifications of the Transportation Clerk: Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Windows, Excel, and Word Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills About Surestaff At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
