Job Description - Assistant Director of Signature Academic Experiences

The Assistant Director of Signature Academic Experiences is a dynamic and student-focused professional responsible for developing and implementing new signature academic programs that enhance the residential experience by connecting academic life with on-campus living.
About the Position:
This role is an on-campus, in-person position. Essential Functions:
Lead the development of new unique, high-impact academic experiences tailored to each of the 11 commons. Collaborate with faculty-in-residence, commons student leadership, faculty affiliates, staff, and academic departments, to align signature academic experiences with institutional learning outcomes and community themes. Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of Faculty and Staff Affiliates for each residential commons. Plan and execute the annual HOPE Banquet and other recognition events that celebrate academic excellence. Qualifications
Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of experience is required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems. EEO Statement
