Overview
The Software Engineering Associate Manager will play a pivotal role in software development activities and long-term initiative planning and collaboration across the Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization. Software Engineering is the cornerstone of scalable digital transformation across PepsiCo’s value chain. This candidate will support the end-to-end software development experience, and deliver high quality software as part of the DevOps process. Responsibilities
Provide technical oversight and hands-on development to deliver high-quality software solutions that generate value through cost savings or incremental value. Work closely with the user experience, product, IT, and process engineering teams to develop new products and prioritize deliverables across S&T core priorities. Hands-on development for Mobile Applications using React Native. Support software development strategy by creating roadmaps and timing of implementation based on business requirements and strategy. Expand DPA capabilities through a customer-obsessed, services-driven digital solutions platform leveraging data and AI to deliver automated and personalized experiences. Help identify and resolve delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to engineering initiatives for stakeholders. Interact with key business partners to recommend solutions that best meet strategic needs. Explore and adopt tools such as AI copilots and agents to streamline development and boost productivity. Compensation and Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance with target payout of 10% of annual salary paid annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. 6+ years in software engineering, with experience building large-scale mobile applications. 2+ years hands-on with React Native (TypeScript/JavaScript). Strong knowledge of iOS/Android app development, APIs, and app store workflows. Experience leading projects or mentoring teams. Bonus: Experience with Salesforce, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, or consumer apps at scale. EEO Statement
