* Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.
Responsibilities
* Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests. * Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study. * Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations * Collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director. * Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies and oxygen therapy when applicable. * Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager. * The CPSGT/RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical Director
Qualifications
Job Requirements
* Minimum of one year as a Polysomnographic Technologist required * Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT) is required * Licensed Sleep Technologist is required * Current CPR (BCLS) Certification
Preferred Job Requirements
* Scoring experience preferred * Registered Polysomnographic Technologist preferred
