is seeking a skilled
ER/ICU Veterinary Technician Supervisor
to join our leadership team at our busy, 24-hour emergency/referral/multi-specialty and general practice in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. Day to day responsibilities of the ER/ICU veterinary technician supervisor include:
Provide emergency and critical care nursing to small animal patients and technical support to our doctors and staff; help oversee all technician and technician training in ER/ICU, deliver regular feedback to co-workers regarding protocols and patient care, attend regular meetings with the leadership team, and more. Candidates for this position must be excited about developing our future technicians and TA team. The right candidate would have a passion to provide the best patient care and employee experience. Candidate will be joining a team of supervisors to help update protocols, help guide and train our ever-growing technician and TA team. Essential skills for the ER/ICU veterinary technician supervisor include: Triage and obtain patient history, monitor vitals, proficiency in venipuncture; IV catheter placement; drug calculations; administration IV drugs, client communication and education. Credentialed Technician is a plus but we will also support the right candidate in their pursuit of CVT or VTS credentialing. The Benefits Continue to Grow! Full-time Compensation:
$24.00 - $30.00/hour based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.
