Position Overview:

As a strategic partner, the Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with care team members and management in designated regions with minimum supervision. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management and care team members on Human Resource related issues, as well as an integrator to the Majestic HR division to ensure connections for seamless, effective HR services. This consultation and integration will include complex/sensitive employee relations support, job definition, performance management, change management, and strong project planning skills. Communicating needs proactively with HR and operations leaders, the HRBP seeks to partner in the development of integrated solutions. The HRBP must effectively communicate and present to high level leadership. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about financial position, mid-range plans, culture, and its competition. Essential Responsibilities: Is the primary HR support for Care Team Members in our communities in central and southern Indiana. Manage and resolve complex associate relations issues. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal and contractual requirements related to day-to-day management of care team members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance; partnering with legal and other departments when required. Provide guidance to leaders and care team members to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. Consult with leadership providing HR guidance and interpretation on policies and procedures. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to facility leaders and facility HR members (coaching, counseling, corrective actions, career development). Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures and workforce planning. Partner with the leadership team to assure cultural alignment. Advises management team in defining and identifying key measures and performance targets. Develop solutions to critical business issues and presents alternatives to management. Identify workforce training needs for within the region by partnering with key stakeholders. Develop and maintain job descriptions. Support succession planning initiatives across region. Matrix Partnerships: Partner with key stakeholders to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Partner with Home Office key stakeholders to deliver aligned HR practices that drive specific business unit focused solutions. Partner with facility HR and leadership to ensure new hire orientation and onboarding needs are being met. Partner with Leave & Worker’s Compensation Specialist and serve as backup during time off. Partner with Regional HRBP’s and provide support as-needed. Project Management: Responsible for facilitating process innovation, strategic planning, competitive analysis, and other HR initiatives. Act as the HR Project Lead to ensure successful implementation of new business or HR solutions within their region. Responsible for completion of required project deliverables. Leads multiple, cross-functional and/or cross-departmental projects and initiatives. Communicates project status to sponsors and stakeholders. Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field required Master’s degree preferred License/Certification: PHR and/or SPHR preferred #MCare
