Shipping/Receiving Specialist
Come be part of a dedicated team at PAK Solutions, a leading provider of flexible packaging products in the United States. PAK Solutions is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Specialist: Responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipments, loading and unloading pallets, pulling and preparing orders, and maintaining an organized shipping, receiving, and storage area. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain safe work environment. Safely operate power lifts and pallet trucks. Sort and segregate finish goods provided from converting. Daily finished goods organization, staging and storage. Daily receiving of raw material shipments. Sort and segregate raw materials for storage and distribution for use. Organization of customer shipments as requested. Receive and sequence pulling orders. Pull ordered material from appropriate bins. Pack shipping containers or boxes. Inspect material for quality. Provide physical inventory counts. Track orders and document work. Investigate shipping issues as needed. Communicate with Warehouse/Shipping Manager all needs. Completes shipping tasks as required from Shipping Manager. Available to work weekends when needed. Drivers License Required. Able to drive a manual transmission box truck from factory to warehouse. Minimum Qualifications: Warehouse and forktruck (stand-up) experience required. High School Diploma/GED required. Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel. Basic math skills. Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively and efficiently. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
