Skills

Demonstrated experience in system integration testing, End to End software testing, report testing, interface testing, regression testing, functional testing, security testing, third party integration testing Strong background with creating test plans and improving test automation strategies Experience in Selenium development, including Java Development experience in creating test automation framework and mentoring team members Knowledge of QA concepts and development principles (e.g. Functional, Integration, Regression, Unit Test) Experience in scripting, Java, Selenium, Automation, SQL, Stored Procedures. Experience with measuring quality and reporting on testing status Experience in e-Comm WebSphere Commerce (Online) and Testing experience Functional & Automation, Web-based testing experience for applications developed using web technologies (WebSphere Commerce/HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Java), and mobile/tablet devices Coordinate with Offshore team on a regular basis to clarify requirements, test data prep-up, review various test deliverables, test timelines, etc. Experience with using business acumen and stakeholder partnerships to determine appropriate urgency and mitigation actions JIRA management tool experience in Defect and Project Requirement modules Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Work Experiences

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with HP-ALM / Zephyr Minimum 10 years of experience in testing distributed applications, Commercial ERP systems like Oracle Retail, IBM Retail and/or web applications Demonstrated experience in Software Quality Assurance automation development

Responsibilities

Execute at an individual contributor level as well as manage deliverables and project management of the testing phase for software development projects Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test strategy, test plans and test cases Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities as per ASO SQA testing standards and process. Take ownership and accountability to complete testing on schedule with high quality. Reduce defect leakage to UAT and Production. Design, develop and execute automation/manual scripts using testing tools Identify test requirements from specifications and prepare requirement traceability matrix Analyze business requirements and define Automation Test Scope Review functional specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables Partner with Functional/Business Analysts and QA to create and automate test cases Identify regression testing needs, and create and maintain an Automated Regression Suite Update and maintain automated test scenarios based on new changes Partner with QA and Functional/Development teams to create test data sets which fully exercise data validation and end-to-end system functionality Accurately judge test outcomes to determine pass/fail status. Identify and track defects as test failures occur, narrowing the root cause to enable efficient investigation Participate in QA and cross-team process improvement initiatives Collect and analyze large amounts of data acquired during testing Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members Identify potential quality issues per defined process and escalate immediately Assist with executing non-functional testing (performance, reliability, stability, compatibility) Work with end users, technical, and functional teams to define and implement QA best practices Develop understanding of company policies, procedures, and safety rules Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other tasks as assigned
