Our client (a world leading hedge fund) seeks a hands-on Database Infrastructure Engineer to join their Algo Trading Strategies and Technology department.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for architecting, deploying, and seamlessly integrating the database frameworks and automated solutions within Windows and Linux environments. Collaborating with software developers and trading teams to enhance and expand applications and software related to database connectivity and functionality.
Requirements:
Degree in computer science or related engineering discipline required. In-depth understanding of the intricacies of operating system architecture, principles of information security, and network protocols. Extensive experience with Python, Java, C#. Thorough expertise in at least one of the database platforms (Cassandra, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc).
