In this global role, reporting to the Head of Apply, Science & Technology, you will innovate in flavor creation for the sweet taste and hydration platform, supporting regional needs. This onsite position in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an individual contributor role with high impact. Responsibilities

Flavor Research and Evaluation:

Execute research projects focusing on the Sweet taste category, with Citrus as a priority. Evaluate materials, formulate flavors with new technologies for beverages, dairy, and other applications, ensuring compliance with project needs, regulations, cost, and production requirements. Expertise Knowledge Sharing and Partnering:

Develop a network with regional flavorists and other functions, sharing styles and approaches. Coach and mentor flavor assistants. Engage with departments like analytical chemistry, sensory, consumer understanding, regulatory, flavor delivery, and manufacturing. Advise internal customers on ingredient and flavor performance, and contribute to research discussions. Project Management:

Support regional and customer innovation projects, manage assigned projects, and ensure flavors meet all requirements while following good manufacturing practices, regulatory compliance, and supporting the innovation pipeline. Qualifications

Advanced Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. 15+ years experience as a Flavorist, post-industry-standard training. Experience in flavor creation for sweet taste modulation, citrus, beverages, and other applications. Expert tasting skills and ability to adjust flavor formulations accordingly. Deep knowledge of raw materials, flavor ingredients, and global regulatory requirements. Proficiency in analytical methodologies (GC, HPLC, Mass Spec).
