Overview
The Senior HR Generalist plays a key role for this fast-growing Coin Operated Amusement Machine (COAM) company in GA with historic year-over-year growth and anticipated growth through mergers, acquisitions, and organic expansion. Reporting to the Head of HR, the Senior HR Generalist will support day-to-day operations and execute the Company’s long-term People Plan. The successful candidate will be willing to roll up their sleeves, learn the business, develop internal and external relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced, solutions-focused environment. Key Responsibilities
Ownership of key internal processes, including onboarding/offboarding, partnering with payroll on bi-weekly payroll support, 401(k) administration, and continuous process improvement. Education and Training – Ensure mandatory training and continuing education are complete and documented, including safety training, code of conduct and handbook training, anti-harassment training and required certifications. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technology in HR, talent, and employment law. Conduct onboarding and new employee orientation. Benefits – Assist employees with benefit programs and all leave requests. Work with the HR team on the annual Open Enrollment period. Comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Employee Relations – Manage details and coordination of disciplinary discussions, terminations, and investigations. Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Performs other duties as assigned. Key Competencies and Experiences
Experience with the human resources information system (HRIS), particularly ADP Total Source Knowledge of HR labor and employment law, and the ability to interpret, apply and articulate this knowledge in support of business initiatives. A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Human Resources; 5+ preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred Strong ability to multitask.
