TECHNICAL RECRUITER Responsibilities

As a SpaceX recruiter, you will run a full desk with duties focused on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent to fill mission critical positions. You are often a candidate’s first encounter with SpaceX and should represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm. You will work in teams with collaboration and a high degree of autonomy. You should show initiative, take responsibility, and drive tasks to completion. Your day-to-day routine will vary as hiring priorities shift. A basic set of activities includes, but is not limited to: Meet with client groups to discuss headcount, new requisitions, hiring strategy, and interview feedback – act as a partner to clients Screen candidates who apply to requisitions Source candidates, including those not actively looking Discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend top candidates for interviews Give tours to candidates before onsite interviews Attend interviews with client groups to evaluate candidates Lead HR onboarding for approved hires, including initiating background checks, reference checks, negotiating offers, extending offer letters, and issuing new hire paperwork Some days you will have multiple candidates onsite for interviews and provide tours; other days you will focus on filling your candidate pipeline through screening and sourcing. The pace moves fast, and your goal is to attract, organize, and manage the flow of talented individuals to advance SpaceX’s mission. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience as a recruiter; or associate degree and 6+ years of professional experience as a recruiter; or 7+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree Preferred Skills and Experience

5+ years of technical recruiting experience Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and/or aerospace engineers Experience with high-volume recruiting Experience with full life cycle recruiting (screening, facilitating interviews, extending offers) Ability to distinguish top talent within their field Expertise in non-standard recruiting methods (cold outreach, networking events, targeted sourcing campaigns) Comfortable interfacing with hiring managers including director and VP level technical leaders Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates Ability to present candidates accurately without overselling; influence decisions as a talent expert while avoiding dictating client decisions Ability to multi-task and operate with little direction while remaining a team member Additional Requirements

Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed Based in Hawthorne, CA (Los Angeles area) and requires onsite work 100%; remote or hybrid schedules are not available Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: Technical Recruiter/Senior: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year. Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis based on job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that may include stock or stock options, discretionary bonuses, and stock purchase plans. Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage; 401(k); disability and life insurance; paid parental leave and other benefits.
