Cardiology Technician - Stress Testing

Performs 12-Lead ECG, documents vital signs during stress testing, and electronic clinical workflow. Demonstrates the cognitive and technical skills required to acquire a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) including appropriate preparation of skin surfaces correct placement of electrodes and leads accurate patient identification and verificationelectronic upload of the ECG wavelength order to the patient's electronic medical record. Coordinates ECG routing and clinical workflow to support electronic interpretation by Cardiology fellow and attending MD. Demonstrates proficiency in the configuration,communication, clinical use and troubleshooting of FDA-approved medical devices including stress testing equipment. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $15.37 - $23.82 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Experience: No experience required. Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion: Keyboard, console and workstation repetitive motion. Ability to lift/push/pull 20 – 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The
