Compensation

New providers with our organization receive a two-year minimum salary guarantee based on level of experience. There are opportunities to transition to the regular compensation plan sooner than two years. Our regular compensation plan utilizes an RVU based system based on a blend of national surveys. For reference, the current blended median (50th percentile) benchmark for RVUs is 6,024 with a corresponding compensation of $172K (50th percentile). Our Faculty Optometrists produce RVUs in the 85th to 95th percentiles and are compensated accordingly. Doctorate Degree in Optometry License from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry State of Texas license from the Texas Optometry Board Five of our hospitals made Healthgrades’ America’s 250 Best Hospitals list, indicating they are in the top 5% in the nation for overall clinical excellence.
