What you'll do
Docusign is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to lead and innovate on key initiatives for our core Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) products. In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional programs driving IAM product innovation and platform scalability, with an emphasis on integrating AI capabilities where they add customer value. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, and Compliance to deliver capabilities such as intelligent document processing, workflow automation, generative AI integration, and platform modernization. You have a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs across a IAM product portfolio—often driving and influencing the development of advanced capabilities such as AI-powered features, platform enhancements, or enterprise-grade integration. With exceptional technical aptitude in you excel at aligning engineering, product, data science, research, and compliance teams towards ambitious shared goals. Responsibility Demonstrate technical aptitude by overseeing and managing large-scale IAM programs, encompassing all aspects of comprehensive project planning, including timelines, key milestones, performance indicators, and resource allocation for various programs and product development cycles
Drive alignment to and execution of high stakes cross-functional initiatives and programs
Collaborate and oversee effectively with cross-functional engineering, product, research, data, privacy, and legal teams to deliver tangible business value efficiently, while upholding stringent quality standards and promoting transparency
Work with multi-functional matrixed teams to lead technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases
Leverage your technical breadth to see the bigger picture—spotting systemic risks, mapping interdependencies, and aligning programs to Docusign's broader platform architecture and business objectives
Problem solve with a bias for action with a natural incline toward identifying and resolving complex technical and organizational challenges
Utilize data and analytical insights to uncover opportunities for enhancement, monitor progress, and assess the effect of quality and efficiency initiatives on crucial metrics
Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for programs, ensuring transparent communication of progress, potential risks, and necessary trade-offs to all stakeholders
Dive deep to develop a clear understanding of Docusign’s products, services, and the specific domains you operate in by building program plans and delivery roadmaps, aligning business goals with technical execution
Foster collaborative and transparent communication
Drive alignment to and execution of high-stakes cross-functional initiatives and programs
Partner with cross-functional partners to deliver business value in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of quality and transparency
Organize and excel at mastering the intricate details of any program
Identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing processes, championing the implementation of more agile, leaner workflows to improve transparency and overall team performance
Drive full Go to Market (GTM) delivery for all product launches

Basic 8+ years of leading large scale, complex, cross-functional global programs
Ability to translate AI research and engineering requirements into clear execution plans
Ability to develop clear program strategies and high-level program plans
Experience building strong cross-team relationships and partnerships
Experience with stakeholder management and leading with influence
Ability to synthesize data from various streams and present in a digestible bite size manner to upper management and execution teams
Experience curating program metrics and creating dashboards / scorecards for overall project health and progress
Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
Preferred Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to deal with ambiguity, multitask and work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Strong business acumen and technical background with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical and product concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences

Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $157,500.00 - $254,350.00 base salary Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
