Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Contract Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for web and API applications Build and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites Write and run complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and back-end processes Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and resolve defects Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools and best practices Qualifications
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar) Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and CI/CD environments Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset Seniority level
