Hansen Talent Group is seeking a
Senior System Support Administrator
to support a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This role will be responsible for application ownership, support, configuration, and advancement of EDI standards in a healthcare environment. What You'll Do: Install, configure, and administer EDI COTS products in the healthcare industry. Provide system/production support and monitoring for applications, batch cycles, releases, projects, and installations. Analyze issues, perform corrective actions, and consult with senior peers on complex projects. Work with internal teams, external vendors, and industry partners to resolve issues and ensure specifications are met. Participate in development of new interoperability standards (HL7, X12, FHIR) and related Proof of Concepts. Support quality and production implementations, disaster recovery exercises, and release activities. Develop documentation, identify improvements, and automate processes where possible. Lead and participate in Scrum meetings to align with Agile/Scrum project management practices.
What You Need: Strong knowledge of healthcare EDI and interoperability standards (HL7, X12, FHIR). Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based systems to install and configure EDI COTS products. Experience with scripting languages (Windows Batch, PowerShell, Linux Shell, Python). Background in Agile/Scrum project management. Experience managing and remediating security findings. Strong understanding of production system support, database management, and system integration methodologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
