About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Credit Risk and Analytics to lead the identification, evaluation, mitigation, and monitoring of credit, financial, and compliance risks associated with retail credit originations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of risk managers and analysts, developing and refining retail credit policies, and utilizing advanced technologies such as data mining, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to analyze business performance. This role also involves the development and implementation of strategies to improve business effectiveness in the areas of credit, operations, pricing, and insurance products, as well as leading key business initiatives and presenting results to senior management.
Applicants for the VP of Credit Risk and Analytics position at the company should have a 4-year degree in a related field, a minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience, and at least 3 years in a people management role. A master's degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in consumer credit origination risk and portfolio management, experience in a fast-paced start-up environment, and proficiency in SQL and/or SAS.
