Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide excellent customer service and technical support to both our internal end-users and external vendors.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist:
Engaging in front-facing customer service for end-users experiencing technical difficulties
Resetting passwords and unlocking accounts in Active Directory
Troubleshooting Outlook and mobile device email issues
Installing and configuring printers and other office equipment (local and network)
Assisting end-users with VPN connections and resolving basic networking issues
Applying updates and patches to laptops/iPads/mobile devices
Managing help desk ticket queues and following up with end-users in a timely manner
Serving as Security Officer to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Maintaining the telecommunication system, working with vendors to ensure proper functioning and cost-effectiveness
Functioning as principle on-call agent for IT related issues with backup provided
Qualifications of the IT Support Specialist:
Associates degree in IT-related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Helpdesk Support position
Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and database management
Healthcare IT (Electronic Medical Record) experience preferred
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, remote desktop tools, and basic networking
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Working knowledge of network infrastructure – network routers, switches, WAPs, protocols
Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Proof of Flu vaccination
