Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mammography Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/03/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel 3045438 First time travelers accepted 1 Yr Exp, 2 years of full-time mammography experience strongly preferred. NEED ACTIVE WA LIC TO SUBMIT Must be open to floating to other campuses Certifications (REQUIRED): BLS, ARRT Proficiency in diagnostic and screening mammograms. Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics All techs new to department have 25 exams observed by another tech before working on own Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting.Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. - 3-D Mammography - Diagnostic Mammograms - Fine Needle Aspirations - Needle Localizations - Screening Mammograms - Stereotactic Biopsy Ability to accurately produce high quality diagnostic mammographic images. Ability to perform, in conjunction with the physician staff, related special procedures. Working knowledge of breast anatomy, proper radiographic exposure factors and procedures for mandated quality control activities.
