Your job is more than a job Sign On Bonus available Relocation assistance available As a Radiologic Technologist, you help unlock the mystery of whats causing a patient pain or discomfort with some of the most amazing technology that lets you actually see inside the human body. So, we think Rad Techs are, well simply, rad! You knew from the get-go that you had a rare ability to navigate in the tech meets touch world of patient care. You understand the science of imaging and the art of empathy. You cant separate your big heart from your big skills. Thats what we love about you. Your experiences, your knowledge, your skills, your empathy, your compassion, your personality, all of it adds up to you. And were excited to get to know you and find out what youll bring to this ever-evolving diagnostic imaging role. Your Everyday Demonstrate technical skills and knowledge in use of all x-ray equipment, protocols, procedures and producing high quality exams. Explain procedure to patients/families and answer questions, ease anxiety, and address concerns. Recognize clinical and/or emergent problems that may interfere with exams and take appropriate action for a positive outcome. Evaluate critical test findings and review anatomic details and abnormalities on scans with radiologists if needed. Maintains supply levels. Clean and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, immediately report dangerous conditions to the appropriate person. Input and verify all data in PACS/RADIANT. Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone and follow all quality control checks. Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient. Contribute to the team by assisting others without being asked. The Must-Haves Minimum: ARRT and CPR certification. State of Louisiana Radiology Technologist license. Day, night and weekend shifts available.
