A role in
Indirect Inventory and Supplier Performance Management (ISPM)
means managing the movement and placement of indirect materials that are required to operate Target stores and distribution centers. As a member of the
Indirect Inventory & Supplier Performance Management
team, you will establish optimal inventory management strategies for in-store marketing (ISM) and non-retail parts (fixtures and manufacturing/handling/equipment) used to display product and support critical store operations. The
Sr. Inventory Analyst
is responsible for aligning across the ISPM team to represent and coordinate with Indirect supply chain and field partners to support inventory delivery strategies for critical Enterprise growth drivers.
As an Indirect
Sr. Inventory Analyst , you will:
Use the right combination of data and expertise to drive the best possible inventory availability to support the In Store Date (ISD) Deliver visibility to inventory strategies, risks, and outcomes in order to foster a reputation of reliability and credibility with Partners across the Enterprise. Ensure coordination across Indirect Supply Chain partners. Focus on understanding volume moving through Target's network and advancements to data driven visibility through partnering with product and forecasting teams. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of key business drivers and implications of decisions; work across ISPM analysts and global team to identify and address complexities. Demonstrate leadership to elevate Supplier Engagement: Advance key initiatives by establishing expectations, and approaching problem solving with a lens of curiosity. Embrace the challenge of Running the Business while also Evolving it: Build out new capabilities and frameworks to continuously improve business performance and drive progress towards Indirect IM's future state Scope of work and Job duties may change at any time based on business needs.
About you:
2+ years of experience in Target Global Supply Chain & Logistics, inventory management, or related field Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to distill information and present to varying levels of leadership Ability to balance both short and long-term priorities - while re-prioritizing as needed Ability to adapt to change and willingness to drive the change when necessary to achieve better outcomes Skilled at making connections, identifying collaboration points, and facilitating constructive and productive engagements with partners (Internally or Externally with Suppliers) Inquisitive and eager to learn a complex and evolving business Demonstrated ability to motivate and drive results through others by upholding best practices and routines This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. A role in
Indirect Inventory and Supplier Performance Management (ISPM)
means managing the movement and placement of indirect materials that are required to operate Target stores and distribution centers. As a member of the
Indirect Inventory & Supplier Performance Management
team, you will establish optimal inventory management strategies for in-store marketing (ISM) and non-retail parts (fixtures and manufacturing/handling/equipment) used to display product and support critical store operations. The
Sr. Inventory Analyst
is responsible for aligning across the ISPM team to represent and coordinate with Indirect supply chain and field partners to support inventory delivery strategies for critical Enterprise growth drivers.
As an Indirect
Sr. Inventory Analyst , you will:
Use the right combination of data and expertise to drive the best possible inventory availability to support the In Store Date (ISD) Deliver visibility to inventory strategies, risks, and outcomes in order to foster a reputation of reliability and credibility with Partners across the Enterprise. Ensure coordination across Indirect Supply Chain partners. Focus on understanding volume moving through Target's network and advancements to data driven visibility through partnering with product and forecasting teams. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of key business drivers and implications of decisions; work across ISPM analysts and global team to identify and address complexities. Demonstrate leadership to elevate Supplier Engagement: Advance key initiatives by establishing expectations, and approaching problem solving with a lens of curiosity. Embrace the challenge of Running the Business while also Evolving it: Build out new capabilities and frameworks to continuously improve business performance and drive progress towards Indirect IM's future state Scope of work and Job duties may change at any time based on business needs.
About you:
2+ years of experience in Target Global Supply Chain & Logistics, inventory management, or related field Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to distill information and present to varying levels of leadership Ability to balance both short and long-term priorities - while re-prioritizing as needed Ability to adapt to change and willingness to drive the change when necessary to achieve better outcomes Skilled at making connections, identifying collaboration points, and facilitating constructive and productive engagements with partners (Internally or Externally with Suppliers) Inquisitive and eager to learn a complex and evolving business Demonstrated ability to motivate and drive results through others by upholding best practices and routines
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
