Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech Job Details: Work 4 x 10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
13-week assignment with no call responsibilities
Must be willing to float to other departments when cath lab is slow
Provide highly technical professional care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Assist physicians in performance of procedures and operation of technical equipment
Prepare room and equipment, instruct patients, and monitor patient condition during procedures
Function with minimal supervision in a team environment
Handle emergency situations during high-risk procedures with calm, professional demeanor
Operate sophisticated procedural equipment including x-ray camera, procedure table controls, image processing equipment, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, ultrasound machine, and power injector
Required certifications: RCIS or ARRT certification and registration, ACLS, BLS
2 years of significant Cath Lab experience preferred
Must obtain computer skills within 90 days for online learning requirements
Working knowledge of English language required
Care for patients aged 18 and older including young adults, middle-aged adults, and geriatric populations
Physical demands include frequent lifting up to 35 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
