Global Trade Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Global Trade Compliance Manager to implement and maintain documented procedures ensuring compliance with Customs regulations and global trade policy. This role involves collaborating with various departments including Sourcing, Commodities, Legal, Finance, Security, and Transportation to ensure adherence to all applicable rules and regulations. The successful candidate will operationalize global trade policies across business units, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Responsibilities: Implement and maintain documented procedures ensuring compliance with Customs regulations and global trade policy. Work closely with Sourcing, Commodities, Legal, Finance, Security, and Transportation departments. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions for non-compliant activities. Manage valuation procedures in collaboration with finance and supply chain departments. Serve as in-house SME on Customs Regulations and EAR Regulations. Interpret regulations and provide actionable guidance for company-specific situations. Utilize ACE data reporting to support projects and compliance testing. Manage duty drawback program and C-TPAT and mutual recognition programs globally. Perform global product classifications and lead process changes to ensure compliance. Act as primary liaison with government agencies for import and export control. Monitor customs broker activity for import and export transactions. Build partnerships with third-party customs brokerage firms and government agencies. Develop tariff mitigation strategies and integrate acquisitions into the trade compliance program. Manage Free Trade Agreements. Essential Skills: Must have customs brokerage licenses. Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Schedule. Knowledge of Partner Government Agencies, Logistics, and Supply Chain. Strong understanding of HTSUS, CFRs, PGA regulations, Customs bulletin, and directives. Experience with import processes including customs transactions and post entry processes. Proven ability to develop and motivate direct reports. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Ability to create new and unique ideas to enhance trade compliance programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions. Critical and structured thinking with superior analytical and problem-solving abilities. Bachelor's degree in international relations or related studies. 10+ years' experience with customs house brokerage and importer experience. 5+ years' experience in a management role within customs house brokerage and importer fields. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $131000.00 - $146000.00/yr.
