Summary:
We're a small, regional team looking for a reliable and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join us in Brevard, NC. In this role, you'll support walk-in customers with electrical products and special orders, handle transactions, manage counter inventory, and assist with order fulfillment. You'll also provide occasional backup support for our Warehouse/Delivery Associate.

Reports to: PC Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
What You'll Do
Greet customers with a friendly, helpful attitude and assist with their electrical supply needs.
Offer product recommendations and basic technical guidance.
Process sales accurately using our point-of-sale system.
Keep the counter and showroom clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Answer questions in person, by phone, or email-providing accurate info on pricing, availability, and specs.
Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
Stay current on new products, promotions, and pricing updates.
Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Support occasional in-store promotions and events.
Follow safety and cash-handling procedures.
Collaborate with a tight-knit team to meet sales goals and deliver top-notch service.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or electrical supply is a plus.
Familiarity with electrical products is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Ability to lift and move heavy items, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.
A positive attitude, team-first mindset, and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
Electrical sales experience
Working Conditions:
Conditions vary based on needed activities and will include warehouse, sales floor and external environments.

Essential Job Functions:
Create Sales Register, pull material from the warehouse, and fill the order
Create or write manual Cash Sale Receipt for cash customer and fill the order
Accept Cash Sale returns and write up Cash Sale refund
Keep counter area and displays clean, stocked, and neat at all times and assist in maintaining theentire location in a clean and orderly fashion
Assist with purchasing duties by informing the PC Manager when item inventory is low or sold out
Answer sales calls and complete orders over the phone
