Your role in our success will be...
As an Entry-Level Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and management of natural gas pipeline and station projects. Collaborating with a dynamic cross-functional team, you will ensure compliance with essential design codes (CFR, FERC, PHMSA, DOT, etc.) and contribute to impactful decision-making. You'll focus on low-complexity projects with budgets up to $10MM, enhancing the execution of critical natural gas infrastructure initiatives.
What you'll be working on...
- Manage and develop both internal and third-party designs for natural gas pipeline and station projects.
- Perform calculations for material sizing, flow, pipe sizing, and more, along with creating equipment specifications and drawings.
- Analyze quotes from various vendors and assist in contractor proposal evaluations and selections.
- Specify and order necessary pipes, valves, and equipment.
- Interface with Project Management, Construction, and Operations teams to track engineering design progress.
- Oversee permitting applications and their status.
- Review final construction drawing packages in conjunction with operations and management teams, approving them for scheduling and construction.
- Assist in the development of engineering scoping documents.
- Participate in engineering meetings with stakeholders, occasionally taking the lead.
- Support project bidding processes, including bid evaluations and contract awards.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Entry-level engineer or recent college graduate.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Familiarity with engineering principles and understanding of construction, maintenance, and operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general business principles.
- Ability to comprehend engineering plans and permit requirements.
