About The Role

Summary As part of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), this position is a strategic partner that collaborates with business owners to deliver value for customers and employees by facilitating consistent delivery of projects. Builds and continuously develops relationships with bank users, all levels of management, and vendors to increase the operational capability of the EPMO to deliver our offered services. This position is considered a representative of the EPMO to all levels of bank groups and management, and professionalism and diplomacy to gain trust is critical to the success of the position. The Project Manager II role is responsible for managing all aspects of medium to large size projects according to strict deadlines and within budget within the organization. Provides leadership while coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors in order to deliver projects according to plan. Adheres to the methodologies and best practices as set forth by the EPMO through all phases of project initiation, planning, execution, and closure. Performs in a highly visible bank-facing role by owning the scope, budget, and schedule of assigned project efforts. Guides the sponsor and teams to make decisions, however, is not the decision maker. Utilizes exceptional communication skills to effectively lead cross-functional, virtual teams while interfacing with senior management and all levels of the organization. This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our eight-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WA, or WY. The entry pay for this position is $93,847.03 + / per year (calculated for Kalispell, MT). All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background. WA Applicants ONLY range: $86,887.59 to $130,331.40 a year. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Project Execution: Applies project management methodologies and control techniques throughout the project lifecycle. Executes plans and coordinates with team members to complete the project according to scope, on time, and within budget. Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines. Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork. Act as an advisor and build/maintain relationships across the stakeholder community. Partner with the executive sponsor to communicate project goals, objectives and potential outcomes. Lead regular interactions with the executive sponsor to inform, alert, negotiate, and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for the project outcome. Effectively negotiates with project stakeholders and team members to drive project delivery to a successful completion. Communicates with project team members regularly through team meetings, documented minutes, and weekly status reports. Manages and updates changes to project documentation, such as the budget, schedule, and decision log. Identifies and manages project risks and issues and works with impacted areas to reach a resolution. Follows procedures for scope changes if required. Guides stakeholders through system selection processes such as requirements definition, Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), demos, reference checks, vendor due diligence, and solution evaluation. Documents all project decisions during the vendor selection process. Project Planning: Applies a rigorous project management planning discipline following the project management procedures. Develops and maintains detailed project plans (scope, requirements, success criteria, and dependencies), budgets, and schedules for projects in collaboration with project sponsors and stakeholders. Identifies and requests needed resources and estimates their work efforts. Identifies, evaluates, and manages project risks and prepares contingency plans. Obtains project sponsor signoff on planning documentation where required. Project Closure: Finalizes project schedule, budget, and documentation, and makes certain all requirements are met. Effectively handles the transition from project to daily operation with the functional areas and obtains project sponsor sign off. Documents lessons learned for inclusion with post implementation review. Governance: Adheres to and supports the use of governance, security and risk management practices. Compliance: Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date. About You / Qualifications

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline, such as organizational management, marketing, finance, or information technology. Experience Required: 5 years (5+ years hands-on experience as a Project Manager with PMP or 7 years of experience without PMP) managing projects within a banking or business environment. Advanced / Specialized Knowledge: Experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Workfront). Advanced Experience: Skilled in developing project plans, work breakdown structures, and project schedules. Strong project risk management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment. Would an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience be considered?:

Capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance. Additional Requirements

Travel Up to 10% travel required: up to 2 days per month by automobile, air, rental, or public transportation; must be able to lodge in public facilities. Travel is necessary to conduct duties and the employee must have the ability to drive and proper licensing. Working Conditions

Environment: Indoors, a climate-controlled shared work area. Noise Level: Moderate; not extreme or excessive. Lifting: Light work; exerting up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently; employee may stand/walk for extended periods.
