Mason Frank is excited to partner with a leading insurance technology organization seeking a QA Lead to elevate their quality assurance strategy. This role will be instrumental in shaping testing practices, mentoring QA professionals, and ensuring reliable delivery of critical business applications including Salesforce CRM and integrated platforms. The QA Lead will own the overall test approach, oversee execution across all testing phases, and champion quality practices that minimize defects and improve system performance. This is a highly collaborative position, working closely with development, product, and business teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities
Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for core systems including Salesforce CRM, policy administration, claims, billing, and third-party integrations. Oversee execution of functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing phases. Promote best practices for Salesforce-specific QA, including validation of declarative configuration, custom code (Apex), and integrations. Defect Management & Quality Metrics
Establish quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and execution progress. Facilitate defect triage, root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution with developers and product owners. Provide clear quality reporting and release readiness updates to senior leadership. Process Improvement & Test Automation
Champion QA process maturity, expanding automation coverage and integrating with CI/CD pipelines. Recommend and implement modern testing frameworks and tools compatible with Salesforce environments. Drive adoption of shift-left testing practices to catch defects earlier in the lifecycle. Partner with developers, product managers, and vendors to ensure alignment on test scope and acceptance criteria. Ensure QA processes meet compliance and regulatory requirements (ISO, SOC 2) relevant to insurance and financial services. Qualifications
