Beverage Bar Porter
Pay range: $18.00 non-tipped City: Reno State/Territory: NV Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned: Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures. Assist the bartender(s) and cocktail staff in the performance of their duties. Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis including before, during and after shift. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping, and mopping floors. Sanitizing equipment. Maintain and organized bar. Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner. Ability to interact with the public and provide excellent guest service. Know guidelines for serving alcohol with care. Knowing and conveying hotel activities to guests. Perform specific tasks related to bars as assigned: organizing, ordering, stocking, and cleaning. Ability to lift and carrying product by hand as well as with carts or hand trucks. Maintain and organize bars and storerooms. Refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals. Ability to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines. Can operate a glassware washer. Answering phones. Maintain proper inventory of product. Maintain and neat, professional image and appearance at all times. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Candidate must possess the ability to deal with guests and co-workers in a tactful and respectful manner. Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests, employees, and supervisors. Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Other Qualifications: None specified.
